Inauguration of the KSS Chapter in COMSATS
I want to congratulate our Members by mentioning that the Comsat Chapter of KSS has been formely launched by an excellent seminar by Mr. Jauhar Zaidi, President and CEO Palmchip Technology, USA, on Palm Chip Technology. It is due to Mr. Baber Saeed and MR. Faisal Tehsin Shah, Head Computer Science Division, who have enthusiastically participated in all the organizations.
The seminar started around 11.45 am with the recitation of the Holy Quran. I was asked by Baber Saeed to introduce KSS. In my speech I thanked the organisers of the local chapter and declared the Local chapter open. The Project Dierector, Dr. Shaukat Hayat, was also present on the ocassion.
Jauhar Zaidi Gave an interesting lecture on the fast developing systems-on-chip technology. He tried to convince the audience that this is the right time for Pakistan to enter into SOC technology. Afterwards, Dr. Hayyat and Advisor KSS Mr. Shah also spoke and thanked the speaker. Baber Saeed had also arranged a bouquet of flowers and Shields which were presented to the speaker.
Later Mr. Faisal took us around the beautiful campus and then lunch was served, one day before the start of Ramadhan.
