George Saliba accepts invitation to visit Pakistan in November 2007


Prof. George Saliba accepts the invitation to visit Pakistan in November 2007 as Distinguished Guest Lecturer. He will be giving a series of lectures titled:

Islam and the Transformation of Greek Science and Islamic Science and the Making of the European Renaissance.

His stay will be primarily in Lahore, though we can organize his lecture series in Karachi or Islamabad too. He will be meeting students, historians, artists, journalists, academicians. His presentations are multi-media enriched and reflect his in depth research on the history of science.

We are currently inviting funding for his travel to Pakistan. If you would like to contribute, please contact us.

So far, we have received promises of funding from:
