Honor for Syed Waqar Ahmed, Executive Member Khwarzimic Science Society
Waqar won the Best Delegate Award in LUMUN 07 held at LUMS, Lahore from 22-27 Nov, 2007.
Waqar is an undergraduate student at Punjab University and has recently assumed his role as an Executive Member of KSS. All the KSS team congradulates him on this laudable achievement.

National Workshop on Crystal Structure Determination Using Powder XRD

The Workshop was a complete success. Attended by more than 50 participants (shortlisted from more than a hundred applicants) from all around the country, the workshop was rated as an excellent learning and demonstration opportunity. The speakers were Dr. Falak Sher (PIEAS), Dr. Menges Goetz (Bruker, Germany), Dr. Saadat Anwar Siddiqi (CSSP, PU), Dr. N.M. Butt (PSF), Dr. Sabieh Anwar (SSE, LUMS), Dr. Arshad Bhatti (COMSATS) and Dr. Umair Manzoor (COMSATS). For a detailed coverage, click here.
