Location:

In the south, the Arabian Sea (>870 km)
In the west and Nortwest, Iran (>800 km) and Afghanistan (>2300 km)
In the North, China (500 km)
In the East India (1300 km) - a known enemy
Sovient Union is nearly contiguous with only a small strip of Afghanistan

4 Provinces, 2 agencies: Baltistan and Gilgit and the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir
