AGENDA FOR PEACE

1. Mature and objective contacts for confidence building
2. Plebiscite in Kashmir
3. serious, meaningful talks about Kashmir, Siachen, Rann of Kach and trade, tourism etc
4. prevention of political turbulence
5. advocacy of the benefits of peace and revival of economic contacts

History has shown us that left alone, Goverment Of the India And Pakistan are not able to settle the issue and the dispute is likely to escalate into a war in which the weapons of mass destruction shall be deployed.

Any solution shall therefore, necessitate positive external intervention.
A positive approach and intervention shall be easily marketable and shall generate do-able actions by the respective goverments for ensuring sustainable peace.

A negative approach with coercive measures shall make it difficult for the government to take appropriate measures, shall be destabilizing.
